The windows and doors were delivered today. Some windows have been installed and the doors should go in soon.  The builder is also putting the run-off drainage system in place.

The Ventilation person has been installing the HRV system. The plumber and electrician are expected to start soon. We are going to Summerland next week to paint trim boards, install the rough-in for the central vacuum system and run the data comm, telephone and TV cables.

As we move along, the number of questions from our builder and information needed for the trades people has been increasing dramatically. Sometimes answers are required a little quicker than we would like.

We finally got our Hydro bill for December and January when heating was required for the concrete pours. Since the bill was 2 weeks late we called  Hydro and were told that they hadn’t released the bill because they were investigating why the consumption was so high. Building a concrete building over the winter should be avoided if at all possible.
